Hey,

My Dad, brother and myself rented three Harleys from your Las Vegas location last Friday.  I have to say the experience will go down as one of my best memories ever.  We rode about 200 miles up to and around Kyle Canyon, over to Hoover Dam and back.  The bikes were AWESOME, the service was top-notch and true to your word, the rental fee was $133.50 for the day with everything included.

You run a top-notch business.  Keep it up and THANK YOU so much for a day we'll all never forget.

Lumpy & Crew,

This was the best ride yet!  5 days of perfect weather and the most beautiful views imaginable.  We left Denver and rode across the Rockies to southern Utah's Bryce Canyon, Zion and Arches National Parks.  I've been a Harley fan, but the Goldwing was (dare I say it?) even better.  After 1500 miles and roads that challenged our nerve, I think Honda got it right.  I'll be back for more, soon.

Thanks for the first class service from Mark and everyone there.  And thanks for the little extras.  Now that you're a motorcycle mogul, I can say I knew him when....

For more than 20 years, I have enjoyed many riding experiences in this country and abroad.  After a long drawn out Winter, Arizona Bike Week in March of 2004 was a must.  Myself and my friends are accustomed to trailering our own bikes across country... until we found L2 Motorcycles.  From the moment we arrived at our hotel, L2 was there to service our needs.  Our bikes were exactly what we reserved.  Clean, fueled and in perfect condition.  Our rides led us through the mountains to the desert and even a Lacrosse game along the way.  Truly, one the most memorable experiences.  We were able to thoroughly enjoy our precious vacation time because of L2 Motorcycles.  To all the employees and friends of L2 Motorcycles we met, your company was greatly appreciated.  Your professionalism and level of service is what will keep us coming back!  I am looking forward to our next adventure!

Dear Lumpy,

I am writing this letter to you today to express my gratitude for the exceptional customer service that I received at your store.  Good customer service is hard to find these days and I feel that you went above and beyond in my situation to satisfy a new customer.

In recap of my situation, I rented a bike from you in March 2003 and when my wife and I were in downtown Denver, we discovered that the bike would not start.  When I called to report the situation, you handled the situation with the utmost professionalism.  You immediately responded by bringing a new bike to us and even reimbursed me for the lunch we had while we waited!  You exceeded my expectations by offering to pay for our lunches and when I returned to the new bike, you gave me a certificate to use in the future for a one-day free rental.  This is exceptional customer service to me and I know that I will rent from you again because of the integrity you have for your business.  I have told a number of my friends about the experience and they were all amazed at how you handled it.  I know that 5 of them have rented from you instead of their normal Harley Davidson dealership.

Later that year, when I tried to rent a Fatboy (a bike that I have been wanting to ride for a while now) it was booked on the weekends that I could ride.  Since I was unable to use the certificate in 2003 and it expired in 12/2003, I was afraid that I would not be able to use the generous gift that you had given me.  Then you told me that you would honor the certificate in 2004 and once again, you went above and beyond to satisfy a customer.

This past weekend I was finally able to rent the Fatboy that I have wanted to ride for a long time now and was able to use my free day.  We had such a great time and I found the bike that I want to buy in the future!  My wife had a wonderful birthday weekend which we probably wouldn't have been able to afford and ride a bike for her birthday without the free day, so she thanks you too!

Many thanks to you and Lance for the excellent rental experience we had with you recently during our stay in Tucson.  The Gold Wing was the perfect companion as we enjoyed our Tucson surroundings.  Thank you for your flexibility in picking us up at the airport.

I've been fortunate in my life to travel the world by many means of transportation.  In all of my adventures none has every been so much fun and gone so smoothly than the one I planned with L2 Motorcycle Rentals.  When myself and two friends arrived in Phoenix, our bikes were waiting for us at our hotel.  Gassed up, cleaned, in perfect running order and ready to go.  No hassles with too much paper work, just genuine concern for our safety and the new adventure we were going to have while touring the mountains and deserts of Arizona.  Every person we came in contact with at L2 was friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help in any way.  On the morning we needed to get back to reality, we had to leave our hotel at 4:30 am to catch a flight, L2 was waiting there ready to load the bikes and move on.  No hassles, just perfect execution in satisfying a customer.

Hey Lumpy,

Thought I would drop you & Dan a line just to say thanks so much for the incredible service you guys provided on my recent trip to Phoenix last week.  I'm sure you'll have no problem recalling John (from California) & myself.  I was the one who had brought my highway pegs all the way from Fredericton, New Brunswick (Canada) just to find out that after you had installed one of the pegs the other one was missing the hinge pin which must have fallen out on the trip out there.  You & Dan were very quick to accommodate me as you found a replacement pin for me in your shop.  That really blew me away although I really shouldn't have been surprised as both John & I had commented how accommodating Dan had been in helping us reserve our bikes for our three day trip.  I have rented Harleys before throughout the U.S. & was used to the standard treatment but you guys really provide an "extra value" package to the customer, firstly by leaving me with a very "good feel" on the initial phone call to inquire about renting & secondly by your complete willingness to please me.  It was just a great experience from start to finish dealing with you folks.  John & I have both mentioned it several times.  It was great meeting you both & look forward to the next time.

After realizing I was going to be in the Phoenix area for a conference I decided to rent a motorcycle for a day and scoured the web looking for a rental.  After perusing the L2 website I called Dan Marovich at L2 Phoenix.  Dan was courteous and friendly right off the bat, putting me at ease, which was important since I had never rented a motorcycle before.  After explaining my situation and that time was tight due to business, Dan said he could drop off and pick up the bike where I was staying (Scottsdale) which was 15-20 minutes from his shop!  He even provided a full face helmet for me since it was early February and it gets cold in the mountains.

When the day came, Dan was right on time with his gleaming truck and trailer.  The V-Rod I chose was an '03, in immaculate condition, and ran flawlessly over the 400+ miles I put on.  Being somewhat skeptical by nature, I was impressed by the first class operation he runs.  After taking about 10 minutes to do the necessary paperwork, I was on my way.  Since I only had a 24 hour period to ride and had never been to Arizona before, Dan gave me some suggestions as to routes.  I took his advice and had a wonderful ride around the mountains east of Phoenix.  The Roosevelt Lake area was especially stunning, and the roads gorgeous.

I believe in giving credit where it's due, and Dan and Myla Marovich came through for me all the way during my rental.  As a satisfied customer, I highly recommend them.

My previous rental experience (at other rental shops) always ended in disappointment.  How many times have we been talked down to as though we didn't know how to ride, rented machines that would not start or run, been charged for extras?

This will not happen at L2 unless its self inflicted.  Lance and Caren treated us like we'd known them forever, are honest and knowledgeable business people who go out of their way to make you happy.  They have excellent equipment and super rates which include everything we needed.  We will be repeat customers and encourage you to try them, you'll be happy too!

I want to write and tell you how impressed I was with your company.  My wife and I rented our motorcycle from your Tucson office.  We needed to escape from the cold of Minnesota and my best friend suggested that we come down to Phoenix and rent bikes.  He and I searched and found your site and choose your Tucson office.  This was the best decision I have ever made.  First we need to pick the bikes up early on a Sunday.  No problem.  Caren Cooper said she would meet us early.  We arrived at 9:00 AM to find Lance and Caren there and the bikes ready to go.  As Mike and I prepared to ride we realized that Mike had locked his keys in his car.  Long story short... Lance and Caren helped us and even smoothed things over with our wives.  I could go on and on but I will make it short.  I travel a lot and meet people all the time.  Lance and Caren made my day and my trip.  If they treat every customer the way they treated myself, my wife and my best friends than they will have the best rental business in Arizona.  You should be proud to have them as part of your organization.  Please feel free to contact me for the full story.

We just wanted to say thank you very much for the great time and wonderful Southwestern hospitality L2 showed us during our recent visit to Tucson.  It's obvious that you both enjoy and take great pride in your business!  I will have no problems recommending you to friends and other contacts I deal with in my type of business.

The only comment I would make for any "novices" in biking is that Sportsters definitely are not for passengers on a long trip!  We should have taken more of the Fatboy style bikes!  Still had a great time and would definitely like to do it again (maybe in a little warmer weather too!).

We forgot to give you back the chamois for the helmets!  I will be sending this down to you today.  Again, thanks for a great ride!

I want to tell you again how much I enjoyed the bike ride!  One more time, thank you for your graciousness and generosity.  It was great to be on two wheels again, the twisties were excellent, and I can now say I've ridden a Harley!  But I must also tell you that as I think about that Monday, the part I'd rate highest was the opportunity to meet and enjoy the company of a brother.  It was a blessing to this pastor.  I know the lunch made you pressed for time, and I hope your wife wasn't too upset, but I'm sure glad we had the opportunity to visit and get to know one another.  Isn't it amazing how two people who have never met can connect so quickly and easily because we're brothers in Christ?

I'm going to continue to pray for your business, for you and for your family.  And if you're EVER in Grand Rapids I'd love the opportunity to return the hospitality!!
