COLTER HATCH. Colter was extremely energetic and full of life. He grew up on a motorcycle, learning to ride at the age of 3. He was an avid rider of both dirt and street motorcycles. In his short life, he never judged a soul nor encountered an enemy. He was loved by all. He also enjoyed and created humor - witnessed at the age of 3 when his Grandfather asked how his dinner steak tasted, Colter answered "Damn Good Grandpa". That same "Damn Good" phrase has followed Colter's memory on the Annual Colter Ride ever since.
THE COLTER & ASSOCIATES FOUNDATION. The Foundation was formed in 2001 by Colter's Father Rick Hatch, owner of Hacienda Harley-Davidson in Scottsdale, Arizona. In its infancy, the Colter & Associates Foundation made a commitment to build a new Youth Center at the Community of Joy in Glendale, Arizona. With your help, the Colter & Associates Foundation has performed and continues to perform on their mission statement! In 2006 the groundbreaking ceremony was held, and in 2007 the Colter & Associates Foundation built and opened the Youth Center at the Community of Joy! The new Youth Center provides all youth the opportunity to expand their horizons in a positive way. Basketball courts, a recording studio, Church, a community center and a host of other activities help guide our youth to "do the right thing".
The Colter & Associates Foundation is the only foundation/charity L2 endorses. We've seen firsthand the commitment by this foundation. We've felt, and cherished, the excitement and smiles on the children at the Community of Joy Youth Center groundbreaking in 2006. We wish the Colter & Associates Foundation continued success in its endeavor and we at L2 wish to be part of our Great Nation youth's future.
